Well being unemployed and having a creative mind is turning out pretty fun.......

decided to take apart my xbox 360 and give it a make over.......

First little project...... shaving the dvd drive cover so you can see the disk spin while playing.....

How are you going to see the disk spin if you're going to pop the drive back into the xbox?

just finished painting the cover so its just kind of sitting on top to answer ur question, i think i am gonna do the same thing i did to the faceplate to the whole xbox

imo, the black and green looks better than plastered with stickers, i would keep the faceplate how it is and keep the rest black

ya i was thinking that, after i painted it and got the LEDs in, it looks really good.

and its sooooo much work to cut out all the pics from magazines hahaha

i got the one red light lower right corner. Its a wiring error did all the stuff that it tells you to do on the website and still nothing.

what happens if you try and start the xbox with the hard drive not connected at all?

it goes to the same error screen

oo well in that case i would have to guess that the gasket around the graphics processor is warped and some kind of white slimey goo has leaked on to the mother board causing the resistors to think there was a girl ontop of the xbox and decided to have a heart attach
