Alright, heres the deal. As most of you know i bought this scirocco because of "financial inevitabilities". Anyway, this scirocco needs to be on the road this weekend. And its really not that far from it. The car starts and drives fine, it just needs alot of TLC and a tweak here and there. Basically, i dont know if you saw my FB note, but heres my to-do list for it.

Replace oil filter- $3.91 -waiting install
Replace magnetic drain plug - $9.75 -waiting install
Replace fuel filter (with new gaskets)- $15.93-waiting install
Shift linkage rebuild kit- $17.64-waiting install
Replace valve cover gasket (update kit)- $14.35-waiting install
Replace air filter (oem for now for $$)- $7.65 - thursday
Autotech Headers- $299.95- thursday
Brake lines (rubber for now to save $$)- $58.42- thursday
Ebrake cables- $39.70- thursday
Fuel pump relay- $23.15- thursday
Front rotors and pads- $90.82- thursday
Rear rotors and pads- $113.89-thursday
Rear axle bushings- $19.50- thursday
Herculiner- $?- thursday
Replace sun roof, possibly make new gasket- $hopefully none
Rear disk brake swap- $in parts car
Replace steering column lock- $in parts car
Clean up and unfuck wiring- $high priority
Weld in roll cage- $low priority
Corrado seats- $low priority

Monday 26July: Finish parts car strip down
-Pull off remainder of body kit
-Remove glove box hinges
-Remove steering column lock
-Whatever else i need off it and figure out how to get rid of it

Tuesday 27July: Disassemble rear brakes
-After letting brakes sit overnight, disassemble entire setup
-Make a list of what needs to be replaced to be ordered thursday

Wednesday 28July: Transfer and some work
-Transfer parts from stripped 16v to sids shop
-Replace the easy stuff, leave body kit off for paint
-Do some electrical work if time permits

Thursday 29July: Order.
-CALL IN order to GAP as soon as they open that morning
-Review order just in case
-Do whatever I can on the car, weather permitting

Friday 30July: Begin longest weekend ever.
-Head to sids at the asscrack of dawn
-Order of business:
-Floor liner
-Sunroof replacement
-Reassemble dash
-Clean and install door cards
-Possibly reroute battery
-Install what can be installed of the rear brakes

Saturday 31July: Do Work Son.:
-Wake up early as shit again after sleeping there
-Get all new brake components installed
-Bleed and square away brakes
-Finish electrical work
-Replace shift linkage
-Temporarily patch exhaust mani.
-Replace air filter
-Oil change
-Paint quattro wheels
-Get new tires for wheels
-Finish whatever needs to be done

Sunday 1August: Progress?:
-Evaluate progress and continue where needed

Monday 2August: Completion:
-Bust ass to make sure car is road ready

So there it is, the grand list. It seems like alot but it really isnt. The car just needs to be safely on the road, i can do the other shit later on, right now its just the necessities. But heres why i made the thread. I need help.

Honestly, im going to be working from literally friday morning till monday night. I already arranged with Sid and im sleeping in a tent in his parking lot each night until this car is done. I plan on working until 3-4am each night until its on the road safely. Im not asking for people to stay the whole time, but any and all help will be appreciated. I will buy food and such for said people. This car just NEEDS to be on the road monday night for work tuesday morning.

Thank you whoever can

Wouldnt it be best to start with the brakes, and complete that. Then the steering column electrical issue. Then go from there? Those are the two biggest things keeping it from being a running and driving car thats 100% legal.

Okay. Im just sayin, you can drive a car without clean door cards and a shitty sunroof, you cant drive a car without brakes, working lights, wipers, and a transmission that goes into first gear.

I might as well do that instead of go to the meet...

So Ill be there friday during normal meet hours. Maybe earlier depending on how hard life decides to fuck over my afternoon.

Oh yeah, and let me know what tools or other shit I should bring. Are you going to be there all day friday or are you working during the day? If you know you are going to need something I can leave it outside my garage on thursday night and you can get it on the way to Sid's.
